Privacy policy

This is a translation for convenience. The German version is the binding one.

2. No cookies, no tracking

This is a purely static website. It sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or advertising services and loads nothing from third-party servers (no external fonts, no maps, no social media plugins). There is no contact form and there are no user accounts. Downloading the Sudoku PDFs does not collect any personal data beyond the server log files described below.

3. Server log files

When you open the page, your browser transmits technically necessary data that is stored in log files: the address requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address. This data is used solely to operate the site securely and reliably and is not merged with other data sources.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically faultless operation of the site). The data is deleted after 30 days.

4. Hosting

The website is operated by RIEGnet itself. The data described under point 3 is not passed on to an external service provider.

5. Getting in touch

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process your details solely in order to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries. We delete the data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.

6. Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

7. Version

This policy is dated 22 August 2026. We update it whenever the website changes.
